Historical Sketch (continued)

In 1994 CUTS entered a new chapter with the hiring of its first President, Rev. Dr. Verley G. Sangster, former Executive Vice President of Young Life, Inc. Dr. Sangster accepted the challenge to guide the school into a new era of service and growth. After twelve years under his leadership, today the CUTS partnership with Geneva College offers six undergraduate degree programs accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. What began as Saturday seminars are now sound academic programs leading to four traditional degrees including the Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies, Associate of Arts in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Bible and Ministry and Bachelor of Science in Human Services. CUTS also offers two accelerated study degree completion programs, which include a Bachelor of Science in Urban Ministry and Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources.
